We took the C7.R replica on a 3 hour (6 hour round trip) trek in 100F weather to Emerald Isle, NC for America 250! We felt every bump, this car is so impractical. But people love it, can’t count the number of cameras that were recording as we were taking it low and slow or people that approached us in awe at every restaurant/gas station! I can’t keep this to myself! All panels on these widebody race car replicas are custom made, except the hood, doors, and rear hatch. I use my CNC machine to make patterns, or direct molds to produce composite panels. The C6.R replica is around 40% in this process, the C7.R replica is just out of the paint shop is around 95% complete.
